Plain-language draft

This document describes how Dreamer actually works today and is being reviewed by our legal advisers before launch. The signed version will replace it here, at this address, with its date.

1. Who we are

Dreamer Money (Pty) Ltd (“Dreamer”) is a juristic representative of Tigris Wealth (Pty) Ltd, an authorised financial services provider, FSP number 53984, in terms of section 13 of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (FAIS).

You can verify these details yourself using the Authorised FSP search on the FSCA website. A copy of Tigris Wealth’s licence certificate is available on request.

2. The licence holder

FSP name: Tigris Wealth (Pty) Ltd · FSP number: 53984 · Contact: [Tigris contact person and email — confirmed before launch]. Compliance officer: [name and contact — confirmed with Tigris before launch]. Tigris Wealth maintains professional indemnity insurance.

3. What Dreamer is authorised to do

Dreamer operates under the supervision of Tigris Wealth to provide intermediary services in respect of participatory interests in collective investment schemes — the funds you choose in the app. Dreamer is execution-only: it does not give advice, does not recommend funds, and every investment decision is yours. The full list of authorised categories appears on Tigris Wealth’s licence, which the FSCA register shows.

4. How we are paid

Dreamer earns the monthly membership and a 0.5% yearly platform fee, both paid by you and both shown before you pay. Dreamer earns no commissions, no referral fees and no payment of any kind from fund managers, and no fund appears on Dreamer because it pays to be there. We do not sell your data.

5. Conflicts of interest

Dreamer and Tigris Wealth maintain a conflict of interest management policy that complies with the FAIS Act. No product supplier holds an ownership interest in Dreamer, and Dreamer holds none in any product supplier. Read the summary on the conflicts of interest page, or request the full policy at support@dreamer.money.

6. Complaints

If something goes wrong, the complaints policy sets out exactly what happens and by when, including escalation to the relevant Ombud if we cannot resolve it between us.

7. Access to information (PAIA)

Dreamer maintains a manual in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000. It is available on request at support@dreamer.money.

8. Treating customers fairly

Dreamer and Tigris Wealth apply the principles of Treating Customers Fairly in everything the app and this site do: plain language, every fee shown, no advice dressed up as help, and no barrier to leaving. If we ever fall short of that, use the complaints policy and we will fix it.
